Sean Preston, editor of Open Pen magazine, asked me last year to pitch any ideas that were longer than a short story but shorter than a novel.

After writing another novel accidentally, I ended on The Prick, a novelette-length book about a man who has his life saved by his worst nightmare.

The Prick as well as others in the series, Bad Boy Poet by Scott Manley Hadley, Shitstorm by Fernando Sdrigotti, and One Thing by Xanthi Barker are out this year, all of us getting the same slick design by Pierre Buttin.
